Specializing in the unique movement needs of motion picture camera operators, Liz has taught injury prevention workshops for The International Cinematographers Guild, NBC's The Today Show, and the Steadicam Operator's Association. Liz works with operators throughout the US and Canada.
Through a decade of experience as a camera assistant, Liz's approach to training the body draws upon her detailed understanding of the demands an operator faces. This knowledge, coupled with her education in biomechanics and neuroscience, enables Liz to make targeted recommendations that operators can apply on set and in life. By tapping into the power of our visual, vestibular, and respiratory systems, Liz’s work affords sustained relief from pain, recovery from injury and restoration of mobility.
In March of 2020, Liz created Stronger Together, a virtual training class which helps operators identify and address root causes of pain and injury while improving strength and alignment. Stronger Together offers three tiers of coaching in an affordable, group setting. SOC members who enroll in Stronger Together by August 14th receive 50% off their first month of classes. If you've tried everything but still struggle with pain that never fully resolves, come learn with Liz and our Stronger Together community.
