8 Week Women’s (+) Self Defense Course

If you’ve been feeling like I have lately, you’ve probably been feeling shocked, disgusted, and angry that we seem to be moving toward a world where women have to be more careful about their surroundings and less free to go about their lives as they please.
Well, fuck that. I will not standby and let women be intimidated, diminished, and left feeling afraid in their day to day lives. So, to address this issue I’ve decided to use my 13 years of martial arts training and 3 years of competitive boxing to create an 8 week course to empower you to feel stronger, more powerful, and prepared to protect yourself if necessary.
Additionally, because I know self defense can be a sensitive topic for many, I want to give you a chance to speak to me directly to address any questions, concerns, or share any history you’d like me to know to determine if this class is a good fit for you.
I want everyone to come to our 8 classes knowing this is a safe space for you to not only build self defense skills, but also to get support and tap into the strength of the women around you. If you’d like to speak to me privately at any time, just use the link above to schedule a call.
Specifics:
What you’ll learn:
Fundamental foot work, offensive, and defensive skills + techniques of boxing and Wing Chun kung fu
How to use an attacker’s force against them rather than trying to fight force with force
The best defensive strategy
Additional Support:
8 weeks of optional, short weekly workouts to improve your overall strength and conditioning
Nutrition and supplementation recommendations to expedite recovery from workouts, sleep your best, and feel more energy throughout the day
When: Sunday afternoons for 8 weeks beginning March 9th
What you’ll need: no experience necessary, but do come ready to push yourself!
Hand wraps (you won’t be hitting anything right away but at some point you will need these)
Boxing gloves
Wrestling shoes (optional) - no other shoes are allowed on the mat
Water with electrolytes

Will this involve sparring?
No, you do not have to spar at any point
If I’m feeling uncomfortable for any reason is it okay for me to sit out and watch?
Absolutely. Take a breather. Watch. Get back in the mix when you feel ready.
