What does membership include?

1) Depth and breadth

During 6 months of one to one coaching with Liz, we will navigate the ups and downs of busy and slow periods in work and life.

If you’ve whipped yourself into great shape while work and life demands were slow, only to lose your results when life gets hectic, I get it. How frustrating!

Together, we will identify the tipping points that have kept you chasing your tail. With these barriers out of your way, you will learn just how adaptable and strong you truly are.

Greater clarity and confidence not only on what to do but why you’re doing it will embolden you with the confidence to successfully navigate life’s obstacles going forward.

2) Structure

Through regular zoom sessions (used in one hour or 30 minute increments) you will:

-Master challenging movements

-Learn powerful drills that unlock your body from postural imbalances, resolving your aches and pains no matter what life throws at you

-Begin to intuitively apply a minimum effective dose perspective on doing more with less

3) Specificity

In addition to your coaching calls you receive a fully customized training program specific to your goals, injury history, time available and equipment.

Unlike the majority of remote coaching programs that offer general recommendations, Strength Squad Elite members reap the rewards of specificity with individualized guidance.

4) Accessible Support

Have a question on the fly? Want feedback between coaching calls? Just send me a video of yourself performing a movement, a voice note with your question or a pie chart (kidding) mapping out your issues. Whatever you need, I’ll be there with you each step of the way.

Since joining, I’ve become a smoother, more precise operator off the shoulder and the hip. I can do more takes with less effort: longer takes, better framing because I’m less fatigued; I make better transitions because I can recruit the right muscles to go from one position to another smoothly.

My steadicam operating has also improved. Im smoother because I feel more through my feet and body; I can dance with the rig longer. My body recuperates better, faster, so I can go again and again and again for the long haul. I feel much more efficient.

Liz’s knowledge of the film business means she understands the schedules and habits of filmmakers. She knows we go to crafty when we’re bored. AJ Strauman

In 2018 I developed hip pain which evolved into a femoral stress fissure from improper form while running and operating. Three rounds of traditional physical therapy alleviated my acute pain, but couldn't solve the underlying issue that lead to recurrent injury.

Six months after finishing a round of PT, I'd be in pain again. As a new steadicam operator, these issues could have ended my career before it began.

Liz's analysis of the body's strengths and weaknesses is totally unlike the traditional PT approach.

Rather than focusing only on the site of pain, she looks at the whole body as a system, finessing the disconnections at the start of the chain that manifest as injury at the end.

Rather than putting a band-aid on your symptoms, Liz finds and treats the cause of your issues. After working with her, I'm not only free of pain, I've future-proofed myself against re-injury. I can't recommend her enough!

As an AC transitioning to operating steadicam, I wanted to build a good physical foundation and prevent injury while also developing my strength and stability.

I have been quite skinny my whole life, so I also knew I needed to gain weight.

As an AC, this didn’t bother me. However, as a steadicam operator, my low weight played a big role in feeling unstable with the rig.

Working with Liz in Strength Squad Elite, I was able to gain 30lbs in the past six months—a gain that I never expected was possible.

We also emphasized single leg stability exercises, and now I feel much more stable in the rig!
